This Privacy Policy explains how BizTrack ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Oluwatobi Ayodele, collects, uses and protects information when you use the Service.
Account information (sent to and stored on our server):
Your name, username, email address, password (stored in hashed form), country and preferred currency.
Business data (stored locally in your browser only):
Sales, expenses, stock levels, cash entries and other transactions you record. We do not receive, transmit or store this data on our servers.
Technical information:
Basic details such as browser type and language preference, used locally for app settings or, where applicable, logged by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
We use account information to create and secure your account, let you sign in, personalize the app (such as currency and language), communicate important service updates, and improve BizTrack. We do not use your business data for any purpose, because it never reaches our servers.
Account data lives on our servers, or those of our hosting provider, and is protected as described in "Data Security" below.
Business data lives only in your browser's local storage on the device you use. It moves with the browser, not with your account, so it will not appear if you sign in on a different device or browser, and it can be lost if you clear site data.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share account information only with service providers who help us run BizTrack (such as hosting), under confidentiality obligations; if required by law, regulation or valid legal process; or to protect the rights, safety or property of BizTrack, our users or others. We do not have access to your business data to share, since it is not stored on our servers.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as password hashing and secure connections, to protect account information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
BizTrack uses browser local storage to keep you signed in and to store your business data and app preferences on your device. This is essential to how the app works; disabling it may prevent BizTrack from functioning properly. BizTrack shows ads served by Google AdSense to free-plan users. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where allowed. Your business data and transactions are never shared with advertisers. You can manage ad personalisation at https://adssettings.google.com, and Premium removes ads.
Depending on applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
BizTrack is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
BizTrack may be used from countries other than Nigeria. By using the Service, you understand that your account information may be processed and stored in Nigeria or in the country where our hosting provider operates.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date, and where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
